Craving chocolate cake but don’t want to spend 3 hours making it?
Here’s my ONE-MINUTE chocolate lava cake in a mug.
And great news! You can make this gluten-free!
Chocolate Lava Mug Cake
1/4 cup AP or gluten-free flour (30 g)
1/4 cup granulated sugar (50 g)
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder (10 g)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (1 g)
Pinch of salt
3 Tablespoons melted butter (43 g)
3 Tablespoons milk (46 g)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla (2.5 g)
Pieces of chocolate (Hershey bar chunks, dove chocolates, etc.)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Place dry ingredients in microwave safe mug and stir to combine. Add butter and milk. Stir. Add yolk and vanilla. Stir. Place chocolate pieces on top of batter in the center and gently push down until they are submerged or mostly submerged. Microwave 1 minute. Carefully take out of oven. It’s hot! Dust with powdered sugar.
1-You can make this a regular chocolate cake by omitting the chocolate pieces.
